Chaton Anderson, Senior VP of Publicity & Creative Services
Chaton Anderson is a skilled publicist and marketing expert with vast connections in the entertainment, lifestyle, and fitness industries, and more than a decade of copywriting and editing experience. In addition, she has expertise in film distribution, publicity and marketing, which enabled her to develop relationships with a wide range of actors, directors, musicians, agents and artist management. Throughout her publicity career, she has launched a variety of companies, most recently Sheila Kelley’s S Factor and The Pinnacle Challenge, into the mainstream with incredible success. In addition to her duties at Fusion, Chaton writes articles for various magazines, as well as a column for TheSavvyGal.com. She was also recently the Editor of Working World and Working Nurse magazines.Chaton was formerly the Head of Marketing & Publicity for Alpine Entertainment and its four subsidiaries. In this position, she created marketing, publicity and promotional campaigns for several independent films, including The Convent, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and enjoyed wide theatrical releases across the globe. She was promoted to this position after serving as a Production & Development Executive for the company.
Chaton’s previous experience includes a position as Marketing Director for Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, a nationally renowned, full-service law firm, as well as Parker & Sommers, LLP. Her past experience also includes freelance writing and commercial production, and a position as Communications Director at a boutique integrated marketing and public relations agency, where she aided in the conception and creation of objectives, strategies and tactics for commercial and non-profit clients. In addition, she produced electronic press kits (EPKs), and wrote copy for and managed the production of both radio and television commercials.
In addition, Chaton’s past experience includes several years as a journalist for London-based Euromoney Magazine. In this position, she traveled to 20 countries, including the warring former Yugoslav republics, to write economic profiles and financial sponsorship statements for government ministries, multinationals and privatizing entities. She received accolades from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), The International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the World Bank for her contributions in the war zone, which helped Macedonia to gain recognition from the European Union. She was not only the youngest journalist in the region at that time, but also one of the few females.
Chaton received a Masters degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Arizona. In addition, she studied at the Prague Writer’s workshop at Charles University.
Megan McElwee, Senior VP of Marketing & Product Development
Megan McElwee is a creative marketing professional with over a decade of experience in corporate and consumer marketing, management and strategy. Before joining Fusion Public Relations & Integrated Marketing, Megan was the Director of Marketing and New Product Development for Beingwell Nutraceuticals, a direct response nutraceutical company that made world-class brands and compelling television campaigns. She focused on brand development from formulation to launch, advertising, direct marketing, loyalty marketing and customer retention management.Prior to working for Beingwell, Megan did corporate and consumer marketing for the Fox Family Channel and ABC Family Channel and was responsible for coordinating local and national promotions and marketing initiatives.
Currently, Megan assists companies in the beauty, health and wellness industries launch natural products and services into the marketplace by focusing on developing superior products and creating compelling marketing campaigns. She also provides creative strategy and development for Fusion’s wide range of clients.
Matthew Desotell, Art Director
Having worked in visual mediums from a very early age, Matthew Desotell's skills as an Art Director resulted from a diverse professional and creative background spanning ad agency, magazine publishing, fine art, web based communications, film and new media.Through his diverse experience and training, Matthew performs successfully in the disciplines of visual artist, graphic designer, photographer, video editor, producer and director. Recent clients include Citizens of Humanity, Access 360 Media, Dogeared, Rowbics, Above Ground Pictures, and Film Art LA, among many others.
Matthew's held full-time positions as Production and Art Department Manager for Working World and Working Nurse magazines. Past experience at full service ad agency, TLW Productions in New Orleans, included field and studio assignments with photography, video and film production where he shot, edited, directed, and produced various marketing, training and corporate image projects for a diverse client base. In addition, Matthew produced and directed a feature length film which is currently screening in the festival circuit.
Matthew received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette.
